Recently I decided to sew a little plush cat. I have a lot of scrap fabric and old clothes (that mostly did not belong to me) that I can use for sewing projects. I have always made garments but decided to switch it up, both for fun and experience. So I decided to make this little cat. Their name is Julius.
The body is made out of a pair of jeans I cut up to research for my profile assignment. The filling is an old knit sweater. The band aid is made out of scraps from an old curtain and the jeans and scarf are made from samples from a striped curtain I got at this store that was closing down. I made both of their eyes different. I think it looks cuter that way. This was a surprisingly easy and satisfying little project which I am proud of.
